Hydrostatic Test Water Treatment Equipment

Fullkote Pipeline Services now offers new state-of-the-art equipment for the treatment of hydrocarbon contaminated hydrostatic test water for the pipeline and tank storage industries.

At the core of the treatment system is PetroLOK-FMTM filtration media.  This blend of various polymers and carbon can absorb up to 4 times its weight in separate-phase and emulsified hydrocarbons, sheens, and dissolved-phase hydrocarbons, and treat these compounds to well below discharge permit requirements more efficiently then conventional carbon-based technology.

After rigorous field tests, the PetroLOK-FMTM equipment has received approval from the California Department of Fish and Game and 5 regions of the California Regional Water Quality Control Board for on-site treatment and discharge of impacted surface waters without the need for licensing as an oil spill cleanup agent or NPDES permitting, thereby reducing or eliminating the need to store and transport contaminated water to off-site treatment facilities.

Our mobile treatment equipment is strategically located throughout the United States and Canada to rapidly respond to your project requirements.  Standard equipment is capable of treatment rates of up to 3,000 gallons per minute. Due to the efficiency of the PetroLOK-FMTM media, the equipment size is significantly smaller then traditional carbon-based units and can be more readily transported to remote right-of-way locations.   Spent media can be disposed at non-hazardous landfills or used as fuel in agricultural or energy cogeneration furnaces.
